On the printed pattern, the letter X is seamlessly incorporated into the traditional elements of the pattern.
Torii gates, ripples on the water, and yin-yang taiji diagrams — motifs reminiscent of the Heian period, floating atop the background of a haze (egasumi) pattern.
With both cherry blossoms and autumn leaves present out-of-season, this design expresses a concept that transcends the fabric of spacetime.
